Change headphone while amp (aria) is on?

IIRC Jan Meier said that you can blown the fuse by removing the headphone plug due to the nature of Jack connector.
Before plug in or unplug in, lower the volume to 0.
It's safe to do that also with Cinch and USB connection.

In addition I would make sure the source is not providing input to the amp.

From the Aria user manual :
If the headphone plug is not properly inserted in the headphone socket on the front site this may result in a short-circuit of the output. This is not a faulty design of the amp but an inherent property of this interconnect system. Depending on the input signal and the volume settings this short circuit may also result in the fuse to blow. Before replacing the fuse always check the position of the headphone plug.
