I've never owned a music streamer. I connect my DAC to an amp and my laptop. How useful is a music streamer if you already own a high-quality DAC and a headphone amp?

I noticed that Windows software has a "spatial sound" option for choosing Dolby Atmos. What effect, if any, would this have on streamed music from Tidal or other sources? Does choosing "Dolby Atmos" on your computer software accomplish anything without the requisite gear for Dolby Atmos?

Wow! I am hearing details through my Senn 800S I never knew were there. It easily outdistanced a FiiO K9 PRO ESS that had completely satisfied me until I heard the Schiit components. This is one terrific combo. I had them unpacked and up and running in minutes. More as I get accustomed to them.
