X-FI vs. Audigy
I recently made the switch from an original Audigy to an X-Fi Xtremegamer pro (It's the full size xtremegamer card without the external box). I was pleasantly surprised by the change in quality. Bass lines that were previously muffled are now clear and everything has much more punch. I want...- deathBOB

Another Swans M200 supporter here. I'm sure you can find something better for more $$$ but these things sound great for the money. I barely use my headphones anymore . I hope you like them. The Swans site doesn't even have info on the MKIIs hmmm.- deathBOB

Just Got My G5 Ipod!
To bad they don't make a hybrid Ipod with a hard drive and a gig or two of flash memory. Then you could load you movie into the flash and not run down the battery so quickly by running the hard drive.- deathBOB

I havn't heard my HD555s amped yet so I can't comment on that, but I do run them with my mini sometimes when I am at home. They sound better than the audigy 1 in my computer, especially with classical.- deathBOB

My HD555s (way way under $300) seem to have a big soundstage. They work great for games/movies and none of my musci feels like its playing inside my head. They run great out off of my crappy soundcard.- deathBOB
