yeah these cans definitely sound better with a few months of burn-in but i think im going to keep using them until they cannot be used any longer- thrive

i can still use it fine and it still sounds good but i just sometimes need to tuck the foam pad back inside the pleather casing since its exposed....- thrive

hello i am going away to college soon and don't wanna have to lug my desktop with me, unless i have no choice. their not going to be driven from a laptop, the cans will be used solely on the prelude + PC. The HD280 pros were very unconfortable so i want something that is very light and easy on the ears...with that said isolation is important in some regard because I will be in a dorm and it would be nice...- thrive

I am a gamer so i use my headphones for longer periods of time than do other people. It isnt that i dont take care of them, its the fact that they just fall apart on their own. BTW i take great care of my items.- thrive

its definitely build quality. the hd280s fall apart over time, first i had the peices on the headband start breaking, then slowly but surely the pleather started to wear.- thrive
