    Looking for Study Headphones

Wow, so two votes for the DT770's. Then I have a few questions about this can: 1. Are they really that portable? They don't look like they fold up or anything and they seem kind of big. And how well built are they? Will they break easily? I do like the way they look though, I'd have no problem...

    Looking for Study Headphones

I'm a college student, and I have found that listening to music while studying helps tremendously in my ability to focus and ignore distractions (though this does depend on the music I'm listening to). I currently have been using a set of Shure E2c's with either my iPod or laptop. They sound...

    Head Phones for PC

I really like my Shure E2c's for listening to music on my iPod. Haven't used them with gaming or movies yet, but I see no reason why they wouldn't work well for either of those tasks also. If you like a good, bassy sound, go with these over the Ety ER6i's. They will probably sound thin to you...

"OFFICIAL" Shure E2c soft sleeve payment info thread

Once again, stupid postal service. They deliver all of them but two. It's prolly another thing like the stamp thing earlier where some guy just doesn't know what he's doing. That can't be true if all the others get delivered without a padded envelope. Oh well, that's better news than them...

Virometal, that last pic you posted is at least 50x better than the first set. Your picture taking abilities have already improved exponentially.

Stupid postal service. I live in Texas, and I haven't gotten mine yet. I wonder What happened to them or if they'll ever get here.

"OFFICIAL" Shure E2c soft sleeve payment info thread

Yay, can't wait to get mine. And in case anyone was wondering whether or not they're worth the wait, they are. I love my mediums that I got directly from Shure. I needed them for a vacation back in mid-march. Found out later my ear canals are two different sizes, and I need large for my...

    here comes another...

I love my E2c's, and highly recommend them. They're the best you can do for portable headphones under 70 bucks. E3c's don't sound like they're worth twice the price of the E2c's from what I've read on here. E4c's might be worth it when they come down in price though. E2c's are definately not...

    Gran Turismo 4 - wOOt!!

The variable torque thing is awesome, you should definitely get that. Adjusting the distribution of the power to the wheels on a four wheel drive car is very useful. You make it handle like an FR car for better drifing, yet it still has grip on the front wheels. As far as tires, just get...

    Gran Turismo 4 - wOOt!!

Suburu WRX should be able to win Boxer. I did it with mine, and I don't think it was fully upgraded. As long as you have the necessities, like transmission, suspension, drivetrain, and horsepower stuff like muffler, racing chip, and stage 1 or 2 turbo kit, you should be able to win it.

    Gran Turismo 4 - wOOt!!

Haha, you're gonna hate me for this, but my first car was the Suburu Impreza WRX STi Spec-C. This thing is a beast, and is still my favorite car to drive. It's more fun to drive than my Ford GT. Mine's now fully upgraded, but I beat the tuning car thing when it wasn't. It was fast enough...

    iPod AAC Bitrate Question

Ok, right now, nearly all of my library is formatted in 128kbps AAC. This was fine for me with the stock headphones, and sounded pretty good. Then I got some Shure e2c's, and I thought I'd try upping the bitrate to see if I could tell a difference on some songs I really liked. So I re-ripped...

    Quality lost while burning?

Sooo, just curious, but how do they make the original discs to where they're perfect audio quality that a burner will have such a hard time reproducing?

Shure E2c soft sleeves coming 2/15/05!

MD, please cancel my order. Thank you for organizing this, I know a lot of people appreciate it, but I need them for my spring break trip this coming weekend, so I can't wait several weeks for them. I just ordered them from Shure. Hopefully with 2nd day air, they'll get here in time. And...

Shure E2c soft sleeves coming 2/15/05!

About how much are we looking at for each one of these individually, including shipping? I might add a few more if they're gonna be a ton cheaper than ordering them from Shure directly, which it looks like they will be. Also, how do we pay you for these? I don't have a PayPal account. Is...

Shure E2c soft sleeves coming 2/15/05!

Just got my e2c's today and messed around with the fit kit. I found the medium sizes to fit me best. Could you change me to just 2 mediums please? I don't need the smalls now, they don't get a seal in my ear. LiquidTension, the purpose of the group buy is to save people money. Not...

Shure E2c soft sleeves coming 2/15/05!

When is this order going to be placed? I am about to order some e2c's and I don't know what size to order for these ultra soft flex tips since I've never had canalphones before. I don't want to spend more than what I have to, but I want to save money on shipping and get in on this if...

    Shure e2c and e3c questions

Thanks a lot blue onion, that answered all of my questions. I think I'm going to go with the e2c's and get in on this group order for the new ultra soft flex tips. And I might convert my library to 192kbps AAC if I begin to notice poor audio quality with these new phones. But I'll cross...

    Which Canal Phones for iPod?

Oh well, I thought it was too good to be true anyway. E2c's it is then. E3c's are twice as much and don't produce anywhere near twice the sound the quality from what I've read.

    Which Canal Phones for iPod?

Quote: but now I found a place to get the Shure E3c's for $100 Where did you find the e3c's for only $100. I'm trying to decide between the e2c's and the e3c's, and price is one of my main concerns. The lowest I've found the e3c's for is $120. That's twice as much as the e2c's. If...

    Shure e2c and e3c questions

I've been doing a lot of searching over at ipodlounge and here at headfi about the Shure e2c and e3c headphones, and I have a few questions about them. I'm trying to decide which one to buy, and am leaning towards the e2c's right now. 1. How well do the Shure e2c and e3c's handle 128kbps AAC...
