Can i please pick your brains again, i aways got great advice from you dear fellows... (starting with the Karma long time ago) I need a real cheap mp3 player (something i can pick from ebay second hand maybe), budget i'm affarid this time is $30-$50 - will be used to listen to low quality...

Any idea what these headphones are? The markings say EIF3 and there was no headband. They sound pretty terrible too, there is a lot of muddy bass and that’s about it. Just curios if anyone know how old these might be… Thanks.

My advice will be to get an amp. If you hang around here long enough you will get one anyway (you’ll see). Plus, as far as I heard, the line out of the ipod is much better then the headphone out. You’ll get more bang for the buck if you go that route imo. Getting A900’s for the Ipod headphone...

K26P can be found online here (based in BC). As for KSC-75, not as far as I know. I only saw a pair of KSC-55 at Best Buy in TO once.

It looks like my PortaPro foamies need replacement, and I’ve been to RadioShack (The Source now ) and I’ve seen 2 types, one seems too small and it’s a bit thicker and another one that seems too big but thiner. Any ideas which one will fit?

First of all you have to decide if you going to go for closed or open headphones. I’m asking because if you need to listen to them in noisy environments (subway, bus etc), doesn’t matter how good they are, open headphones will just let in to much noise so you can’t benefit from the sound...
