I need a real cheap mp3 player (something i can pick from ebay second hand maybe), budget i'm affarid this time is $30-$50

- will be used to listen to low quality voice recordings

Must have:
- long battery life
- support for wma
- usb drag and drop support
- FM radio

Nice to have (not expecting it but one can dream...)

- some form of text display, meaning can read text files on it

Well, the Cowon D2 meets the must have functions. Not too sure about the 'nice to have', but someone else might be able to help you there.

I'm sure if you're patient, you could find it for cheap. You could probably find something cheaper and does all the must haves.

Sansa Fuze meets your requirements, except battery life is less than 20 hours, which isn't the best, but is more than enough for a daily use mp3 player that you charge every other night or so. They're super cheap, and if you check woot.com right now, you'll be happy
