Thrift store find. Old Sennheisers?

Any idea what these headphones are? The markings say EIF3 and there was no headband. They sound pretty terrible too, there is a lot of muddy bass and that’s about it.

Just curios if anyone know how old these might be… Thanks.

Stumped. Never seen this pair before. I'm guessing early 80s, maybe late 70s. Not visually related to the 414 or its many variants.

Sennheiser mini-Star series. from about 1983-1984.

I had the silver one which was called the MS-100. Later they released the black one which apparently you have found. I forget the exact model number though.

I recall being un-impressed by them too, But then again they were pretty under-amped straight out of a walkman cassette. For their time they were good, as far as portables go.

looks like a standard detachable senn cord that they used on a lot of headphones at that time.
