I got'em and paid $25 for shipping to Canada

shipping > headphones = not so good

To Freshmaker: try and get MX400, MX500, MX550 in that order if you want earphones. Stay away from other earphones in that price range. Better yet check how much Shure E2C cost (I think about 80 euro) they're worth the extra money if you're okay with canalphones.

400 and 500 are similar sounding, good bass, mids, and treble (for buds anyway).

450 and 550 are similar sounding as well, less bass than the 400 and 500, mids are about the same IMO, and the treble is a bit more extended. The buds are a bit smaller too, and because of that, easier to keep in your ears.

I like the 450/550 fit, but I like the 400/500 sound better...YMMV.

I think (I could be wrong!) the only difference between the MX 500 and 550 is the volume control.

Anyway the Plug is rotten-- avoid, avoid, avoid!!! That I can say with confidence.

Weren't the AKG earbuds supposed to be better than the Senns (MX400/500)? Besides, we have a few members from Finland here, who may be more informed WRT availability of things. No KSC-75s up there?!

I bought a pair of these in an airport in europe after losing my sony earbuds on the plane. Long story short, these are some of the worst headphones I have ever owned. After returning home and comparing them to my other headphones it became even more obvious how bad they sound.
