how is grado sr80?
better than er6i or e2c?
is the treble higher in the grado?

im using my ipod line out with a pa2v2. it sounds magnificent.

ontop of that. i dont trust IEMs anymore due to shure's poor build quality.

IMO, the SR-80 improves significantly with an amp. Better bass, more impact.

Yup. What they said. I also think the SR-80 is more pleasing to my ears than the ER6i (although I like the Etys as well), even unamped. Both the ER6i & the SR-80 benefit from an amp, but neither really needs an amp to shine. Also, if you like the sound of the ER6i, I think you will also like the Grado sound (I do anyway).
