Just got my Creative Zen Micro

Hopefully this isn't old news but the wired remotes for the micros are available again at Creative's website. I missed the first time they were available and last I had checked (before today) you couldn't even pre-order. Anyways, the black and white ones are buyable now, enjoy.

Anyone tried amping the Micro (through car)?

I bought a Clarion head unit and it has three levels of amplification for use with the aux input, I use my Micro with it all the time. Here's my review of the head unit.

    Zen Micro Firmware Update

I ran the update last night, charged it, and am now running an endurance test on it to see how long it goes.

Hey Buffpants, I don't know if you have a CompUSA where you are but I saw the silver one in stock at the one by me last weekend.

    Specific Use Question

I am looking for the best sub-$100 set of headphones (earbuds preferred) that I can get for use with snowboarding. Here's the catch, I often go with friends and talk a lot on the lifts and such, so I keep the levels pretty low so I can hear them without constantly messing with the volume, at...

Rio Carbon vs. Zen Micro. Microdrive Player

I'd recommend the Micro, of course it was my review that was quoted earlier in the thread. It does sync with WMP which is all I use and does support at least a version of DnD. It won't transfer the folders in tact but the contents make it over just fine. Size wise it's tops.

Pick your color wisely, 'cuz there ain't no changing it. I updated my review (on my website) with my experiences with it over the last couple of days.

Just got my Creative Zen Micro

While the Zen Micro is .2" thicker than the Mini, it's still really, really small. I was wearing some fairly tight blue jeans today and it slid right into my pocket like nothing. It's also still smaller in depth than the 40 and 60GB players.

Just got my Creative Zen Micro

As stated I got home and it was awaiting me. I've played, I've tinkered and I've written the best, most complete review I can write for it. I don't want to re-post it here because it is lengthy. If anyone wants to read it, here's a link right to it. (no ads, no pop-ups, it's my own personal...

Just got my Creative Zen Micro

Thanks for the quick reply Gloco and thanks to Creative for making something that makes sense. According to UPS my Zen is at my house now, so I'll hopefully be posting a review sometime this weekend.

Just got my Creative Zen Micro

My Black Zen Micro is being delivered by UPS today, but since it's taken two days to get authorized to post here I may as well go ahead and ask my question: I had a Gateway DMP-20x and it was an OK player, my big complaint was that its power button was laid out like so: Off-Lock-On Turning...
