The New Questyle M15i and M12i
Does anyone if the M15i accept mic inputs? I'm looking for something that can replace my apple dongle which I often use for both listening to music and taking work calls.- elindil

Is there a comparison done, between Penon Serial and Penon 10th somewhere? They both are highly regarded, but what should one with a limited budget consider when deciding between these 2 iems?- elindil

[FiiO FD7/FDX] 12mm dynamic driver with its diaphragm using pure beryllium, with an outer-magnet field, up to 1.5 Tesla magnetic flux.
I was using the Hip Dac as well. I have always thought that since Hip Dac having the Burr Brown Chips within, would lend to a warm and fun sound signature. But today I learnt that is not the case. I am getting a more "Analogish" and Fun signature out the 3.5 mm jack from my laptop (HP...- elindil

Would love to hear you thoughts on how the FD7 compares to the Zen Pro. Even a cable change to pure copper or EQing, is not cutting it for me when it comes to improving the thinness in the lower mids. Does the Zen Pro solve that? At what cost? Does the Zen Pro bring that "organic je-ne-sais quoi...- elindil

[FiiO FD7/FDX] 12mm dynamic driver with its diaphragm using pure beryllium, with an outer-magnet field, up to 1.5 Tesla magnetic flux.
Thank you for that detailed explanation! Really gives me plenty of insight on cables pairings with the FD7. I'll be sure to experiment with better cables. For now I am gonna try the copper cable form Xinhs first, see how it goes about. Also thanks for pointing me in the direction of the treble...- elindil

[FiiO FD7/FDX] 12mm dynamic driver with its diaphragm using pure beryllium, with an outer-magnet field, up to 1.5 Tesla magnetic flux.
As AG8 is still a pure silver cable, would buying a 8 strand pure copper cable be a better option to increase note weight and improve the lushness of the mids? Would a cable like the Xinhs 8 cores Single crystal copper do the trick? Or would a cable of much better make (possibly higher...- elindil

I have been listening to the FD7 for more then a week now. One thing that perhaps was not mentioned here, was how unfatiguing the sound is. I have been enjoying the music for hours while doing my work, and never once did I feel fatigue. The FD7 may not have the best soundstage or details, but...- elindil

It would be interesting to see how this compares to the Final Audio A8000. Especially tonally, since both are of similar driver configuration. Dsnuts, would you have any prior experience with the Final Audio A8000?- elindil

Hey Ian, I've seen your posts on how you generally lean towards single dynamic iem's in the past. So I think you are the right person to answer this: I am not sure if I am using the right term here, but do you hear that "BA Timbre" when listening to the legends?- elindil

I have been using the Mangird Teas and Blon 03s for a year. And recently gotten hold of the GK10. Had them burned in for 30 hrs. After quite abit of tip rolling, the GK10 is besting out the Mangird Teas for me. Vocals and overall PraT is better on the GK10s. And they are 200 bucks cheaper then...- elindil

Thanks a bunch for this comparison man. I have been scouring the internet to see if anyone can provide any insights on to sound quality between this 2 for some time. LG G6 Sound Quality
Thank you, so much for the comparison. I have a G6 (quad dac). I pair it up with my Campfire Vegas, and they sound wonderful. Campfire Audio Vega (and Dorado and Lyra II) - Head-Fi TV
My Shure 846 MMXC connecter broke last week after three years of ownership. The suggested solution was to replace the entire broken unit, which is a option i am not willing to exercise. The Vegas to me sound more natural. I have only used the blue filter. Listening to the Shure 846 through a...- elindil
