all you need is a really good sound card and thats all..even if you do not have that a amplifier would be good enough...

you have a lot of budget and i think you could easily get a great headphones along with the amp and accessories...

adub nicely stated, you are right, those of you who look for music elsewhere than just the charts do end up finding some really good ones. the charts these days are just full of pop music and they just cater to the trends rather than diversifying.
