Most detailed, accurate, clear, neutral IEMs
Well I came across this thread with the exact question as the OP. I thank those that provided the technical information, but it's over my head. Would someone provide a good recommendation list of custom and universal fitting IEMs with price points that meet the question of the OP? I'd like a...- ScottSummers

I know everyone uses nylon, shoelaces, or some kind of braided sleeve for their custom cables, but does anyone know where and what type of material to use to for a cable similar to the sleeving used for...- ScottSummers

Grado modders go Magnum
Hi everyone, It's been years since I last visited this forum and as such I'm trying to catch up on this mod. Just to make sure I understand what's going on, the Magnum mod takes any Grado and revamps them either or all of the drivers, cups, and gimbal? Also as far as the sound is...- ScottSummers

Grados in public....
^Dude don't sweat it. They're just headphones. Besides it's human nature to look at things that attract our attention whether we feel the thing we're looking at is odd or cool.- ScottSummers

Does a soundcard popping on playback....
Hi, I have a question on something that has me a bit worried. Does a sound card, in a laptop, that makes a popping noise whenever an audio stream is played damage headphone drivers? Thanks.- ScottSummers

Yeah, hehe. I actually bookmarked that page in case I do purchase the ha-rx700's. But see that's why i'm kind of asking my question. I checked the cost of the materials to do those mods and it's like say at most 13 bucks. At the going rate on amazon for 35 that puts in close range to the retail...- ScottSummers

Thanks for the suggestion! Yeah damn, I would totally go with some grado's but I need a closed/circumaural set. :T So far I'm still looking at the ha-rx700 or maybe some k81dj's unless there are better ones that beat those two before and after mods.- ScottSummers
