Is it normal that my new shure's line is pretty rigid?
As I already mentioned, Shure has attempted to fix the problem by changing the composition of their cables, which would indicate that they're not ignoring it. I've heard that cracking still occurs occasionally with the new cables, but not nearly as frequently as it once did. Also, I remember...- MaxMan

Just saw this as someone's Facebook status: Quote: I hope Kanye doesn't show up to Patrick Swayze's funeral. "I'll let you get back to your funeral in a minute... but Michael Jackson had the best death of the year. Just sayinnn..." ROFLMAO! EDIT: also just found this: Retro...- MaxMan

Since this thread has been resurrected, I'll throw in another recommendation for Jansport. I have a Jansport backpack that I've been using on a daily basis for over 10 years. It has literally traveled the world with me, and it has stood up amazingly well. Some of the zippers did wear out at one...- MaxMan

Best of MTV Unplugged (or similar)
Just thought of another one: Duo by Richard Marx and Matt Scannell. Matt Scannell is the lead singer of Vertical Horizon and Richard Marx is... well, Richard Marx. The album features acoustic versions of several of their best-known songs as well as a new song that they wrote together. Richard... -
Best of MTV Unplugged (or similar)
If you like REO Speedwagon, they did an excellent unplugged set for XM Radio some time ago. When their latest album, Find Your Own Way Home, was first released, it included a bonus DVD of that acoustic performance. Unfortunately I don't know if that package with the bonus disc is still available. -

Favorite Live Band

Shure SE530 Price?
So, they arrived today and I think I've learned the meaning of the word "eargasm"! The old "Is it live, or is it Memorex?" slogan comes to mind. It really sounds and feels like the musicians are right here in the room with me, and I'm hearing details in the music that I've never noticed before...- MaxMan

Shure SE530 Price?
So, after waiting a few days and receiving no response from HeadGear, I went ahead and accepted Earphone Solutions's $299 offer as they said the offer was only good for 48 hours. To be honest, I have a feeling they probably would have honored that price after the 48 hour period elapsed, but I...- MaxMan
