i m already a proud new owner of the MT! =) thx to this thread and shigzeo for the poison... also...i m doing a custom ear tip for it... which i hope would sound better! at least nearer to my es3X!

guys.... i noticed that the cable on MT is its weakest link... is it still worth it for me to get it? i m worried it will be dead in a few months time... =( help!

hi guys. after reading this thread i feel like i m gonna like the MT. but the problem is i m coming from ES3X. I am afraid that the custom has spoilt me for good sounds. So i really need some help on recommendations whether i should go for turbines or not. The other phone that caught my eye...

It's been awhile i din post anything in this thread... eventhough it was this thread that made me go for the ES3X... anyway.. juz wanted to share some experience regarding ES3X... i actually stopped listening to ES3X few weeks back bcoz i was travelling and i didnt dare to take it wit me...

Just wanted to share something with you. Have been using the UM2 for the past year and i got W3 to replace it. W3 does what the UM2 does but better. I havent heard the UM3X, but i have the ES3X. If UM3X is anywhere near ES3X, then all that's left for me to say is, U'll not regret it! =)...

those request sounds familiar! hahahaha... i told them the exact same thing... to check out for ALL of the problems listed here... :d I even asked them to check channel balance and everything that can be foreseen to be a problem... and in the end mine came out great!

pila... they do hand check the es3x before shipping out to customers. but their technician's hearing may differ from yours. so what could be nice to them may not be nice to u and vice versa. anyway i m happy that mine actually is NOT monitor problem. but just due to me accustomed to the W3's...

the other IEM that i have besides ES3X is the W3... which is known for its sibilance problem. Maybe bcoz i m to accustomed to the W3's sound...that i think of all the highs as sibilance... i think u may be correct of the 'clearer' highs... =) thx again for the help mr music... now i can...

thx music for the reply. Ive tested my seal...again and again.. and i feel that i am having a good seal. Any other way that I can test whether I am having a good seal or not? I did the sensaphones test and it turned out great... so now i wonder.... hmmm... maybe i m hearing things?

I dont have the Shure and the Atrio... but i do have the W3... and yes i must say it's good for metal... bass is plenty with awesome control... the mids and high are very clear... but W3 is prone to show sibilance... to me thats the only cons of it...

i better test mine again... juz in case to be sure... HPA... how can we know if the seal and isolation is perfect?

ouch... a refit perhaps? maybe since i had mine with "long sound tube"...thats helps with isolation i think...

i used the same thing... =) and still ES3X's seal and isolation is better than W3... maybe i m not wearing the W3 correctly... hmmmm...
