This headphone is such a strange gem... LCD-2/LCD-3 - Hated the sound, used both for 5-6 months before selling. LCD-2C - Despised it for a week, fell in absolute love with it after a month of listening. Such a punchy and fun listening experience. Affordable excellence (in my opinion atleast).

Truly, I'd recommend you try it at any nearby store that sells it if possible. You forget about the small details and enjoy the musicality that it brings =). Edit: Also, glad to hear the Fostex series sound good with this amp =D

After 3 amazing years, my iDSD Micro BL died. You will be missed greatly, truly the best purchase I've made in my 10 year audiophile journey. Treat your DSD's well folks T-T. (The fact that I never turned it off seems to have decreased it's lifespan, desktop use n all)

Yes, everyday. I've got the bass boost on and enjoy the HD660's immensely with the BL. They were harsh at the start but came to life after a period of use.

I've been using this Amp/DAC unit for over a year now and by god It's bested every setup I've had over the last 10 years. Only issue is the switches on the bottom of the device came extremely loose out of the box =[, making it a pain in the ass if I accidentally push it whilst its on a table.

  You just have to uninstall the driver and reinstall it as instructed because new USB drivers makes it think you plugged it in a new slot.

  I think all we can do is ask them to code a firmware that does just that.

That's the bloody thing, it disabled it from going into sleep mode (aka you have to turn it off manually yourself every time nothing is playing through it.)   So why it's stated for smartphone users only is beyond me. It's worked flawlessly in my application, especially since I play games...
