All right, got myself a Micro, this thing sounds so good with my Focal Clears.
Is there a burn in period?

Yup. Regular 100hrs and you should be good to go, but others reported additional SQ upgrade after longer time.

Just wanted to report on iFi's great customer service. They serviced my micro BL after a lot of communication and took ownership of an issue that wasn't their fault. I am impressed and thankful. The iFi is a great SE companion to my other portable amps.

Thanks iFi!

Hello,

anyone use this with HD800 or HD660s?

regards,
Simon

Yes, everyday.

I've got the bass boost on and enjoy the HD660's immensely with the BL.

They were harsh at the start but came to life after a period of use.

Ok seriously What do I have to do for this thing to NOT drain the damn battery of something I plug into it....phone...Fiio M6....one single song 3-5% battery drain....

Turn on 'the thing' first, and after that connect it to another device. This way 'the thing' will run on power of its own. :L3000:

Right like turning it on , or not turning it on is so complicated. Using two different devices even....I've had nothing but one damn issue after another with this thing. BUT it's sound quality is out of this world....

Yea maybe it's fine I don't know it just seems like it's draining faster maybe it's in my head. I played with Fiio M6 55% battery to 48% on its battery 192khz flac first 9 tracks of of Cat Stevens Mad World album tea for tillerman yea? So if album completed it'd be 10% of it's battery per album.....basically. Is that normal? Yea I guess it would be huh say 1 hr per album which is pretty accurate , 10 albums is 10 hr battery life I guess...hmm.

Again maybe it's in my head. I been under a LOT of stress last few days so....and I'm trying to use music to lesson the stress of what I'm going through but all it seems to be doing is adding more stress getting everything to play together correctly. Sigh,

One HUGE joy has been how this thing sounds though. Which is why I'm trying to make sure everything is playing properly and what not Surgery on Thursday need to lessen some stress. But anyway I had a killer home theaters, Bottlehead crack and Aune T1 and I thought those had good sound, um no. I got this and ie 800's and my music world has been blown open. Just in awe.

Music is definitely a stress reliever for me as well. All the best on Thursday from one music lover to another!

Once music becomes a hobby it no longer relieves stress.
