Does any know where there is a detailed comparison between the iFi Micro iDSD Black Label and the FiiO A5?
I currently have the A5 and I'm powering an Abyss Diana V2.

$600 is a lot for a portable amp.. and I'm not really interested the bass boost or 3D effect.
Any opinions? Maybe I should just stick with the FiiO A5, or is there something a bit more expensive with more power?
Portability is the main factor here.

How about iFi's xDSD? Latest model, small, 500mW at 16 ohms. If you need more power and you are happy for bluetooth setup, xCAN is also considerable option. Abyss Diana V2 is not listed but you can refer;

xCAN works with single-ended terminations.

xCan is rated for less output than the A5 in sengle ended, more than the A5 balanced. (32ohms, A5=800mW, xCan SE=380mW, xCan balanced=1W)

BTW, how much power you actually need? I recommend you to try. Ifi has a good return policy.

I just purchased the Black Label and wow I'm stunned... however, does anyone know how long it takes to charge it to 100%? I'm used to using Turbo mode, so battery drains a lot faster than it would on Normal and Eco modes.

On i.e. Amazon there are dozens of them, just type in "3.5mm to 3.5mm male to male" and that's it.

(The fact that I never turned it off seems to have decreased it's lifespan, desktop use n all)
