    The Speaker Company TSC IE-5?

Here's a mini review of the IE5s that I did awhile ago. I stopped listening to them (and most IEMs in general) once my fullsize headphones started to arrive. In the end, I still prefer the sound of my TF10 as well as my Altec Lansing UHP336 (similar to Super.fi 3) to the TSC IE5...

File of a song suddenly dies!

Yea, my first guess would be the corrupting. It makes no sense at all because this has happened on 2 different drives. The DAP is a Sansa Fuze, so I'm not sure if it automatically syncs or something, all I notice is that the player is charging. The file itself was a nonDRM 320kbps mp3. And...

File of a song suddenly dies!

Both files came from my computer originally. Same file name, etc. Both files have worked well for several months now. And now, without editing or doing anything to the files, both have gone "out of tune". The only contact the DAP and computer have in contact is when I plug it in via USB to...

File of a song suddenly dies!

A song that I used to listen to a lot, recently transformed into something else. The vocals are now completely out of tune and the song just sounds awful. At first I thought my DAP was broken, but I had not updated my DAP in a long time. And also, the same file that I used to play on my computer...

    Which Grados? $200 Budget

SR60s, you really can't go wrong with those for $70 new. I find them more comfortable than all the other models because they come standard with Grado-S pads. I actually use the SR60's pads on my SR325i's. In terms of significance in sound improvement, it's hard to say.... going from $70 to...

What pairs well with a Sansa Clip?

I have used or am using my Clip and Fuze with TF10s, Westone 3, Grado SR60, and they all have very good synergy with the Clip and Fuze.

    TheSpeakerCompany IE-5B Dual-Armature IEMs

I stumbled upon the IE-5s made by TSC a week ago, tried to find some reviews on them, but could not find any. IE-5 High Fidelity In-Ear Style Headphones Out of the box, they remind me a lot of the Westone 3s. The earpieces are smaller compared to the W3s, but their fit is still very...

HeadAmp Pico Portable Amp (w/ optional upsampling 24/96 USB DAC) Pre-Order Thread

I'm using a Pico with my Sansa Fuze at the moment. Does anyone have recommendations in terms of portable case that I can use on the go? Something that can house both the Fuze and Pico and allow me to listen to music?

Limited, wooden portable ATH-ESW10JPN arrives! (with pics)

X2 to the above Some stated that the ESW10s sound great out of the box and were impressed by them immediately, but I felt that they weren't very engaging--- with an amp like Pico, the soundstage really opens up, sound becomes much more clear and refined, bass is a lot more "punchier" as well...

they probably won't sound as good as the Ultrasone Pro 550. From other threads I've read, the fake ES7s don't sound as the real ES7s (as expected). If you wanted to get REAL ES7s, then yes, they do sound pretty darn good.

Limited, wooden portable ATH-ESW10JPN arrives! (with pics)

Are the ESW10s foldable? I'm looking on the back of my box and it states that "foldable headphones are good for portability". So that's leading me to conclude that the ESW10s are foldable, but I don't know how to fold them, other than swivel ear pieces

I'm really liking my ESW10JPNs, they sound great and make for very good earwarmers in the brutal cold weather. But, does anyone also think that the ESW10s are slightly too forward with vocals?
