Just tried that for over a minute - still frozen

I just updated the app, played a few tracks and whole device has frozen, nothing responds screen or buttons. I've also removed card and still frozen. Is there any way to reset?

So I have an ongoing issue with Qobuz, latest app and firmware where it initially won’t output anything even though track appears to be playing. Doesn’t happen with stock app or Apple Music. After an about a minute (or one or two app closes) it then works fine.

I thought that HiBy had something superior implemented. That's disappointing and a deal breaker for me as I was hoping for a self-contained way of using Roon Arc.

I was of the understanding that the R6 III was able to bypass the android limitation across the whole system - is this not correct?

I will have my local Roon files on the player as well, but the way Roon integrates everything along with Qobuz as well as all the discovery features makes using Arc very appealing when I've got a good internet connection.

I'm thinking of replacing my ageing Fiio M11 with this DAP. Has anyone with it used Roon Arc and if so what does it run like? Is bit perfect playback implimented with this app?

Can't you mold the top section down more where it is close to the normal cable? At least then your ear would hold it in place.

You could also argue that the Empyrean is one of the most most underated headphones - many people share your view in spite of how popular they are with others.

Problem with these zany finishes is that boredom sets in at some point. I much prefer the timeless silver finish (or black with the Emyprean) for longevity.

No doubt, but paired with the 2go and Roon, it would take something significantly better to sway me. It is so useful to be able to choose listening locations in the home on the fly according to proximity of other people. Even the garden at the moment. It certainly isn't a DAP for me on the move...

So did I and wasn't blown away. I also tried it with my Hugo2 and it just about coped - at max volume setting!

I use a Hugo 2 exclusively and it sounds great with power to spare. I think it combines well with the Empys in that it counters some of the darkness. I certainly didn't feel the desktop setups at CanJam at the weekend made it feel inadequate.

Fortunately when I got my Empys 2 years ago, the dealer agreed to substitute the stock cable with the silver and offset the price accordingly. May be worth anyone making a new purchase to ask for the same.

I'm listening to mine as we speak and totally agree. After a few weeks of playing with different EQ settings and switching between pads, I've settled on alacantra with no EQ. The smooth relaxed presentation immerses me and I stop analysing technicalities any more!

I don't think there was any doubt about the specificity of the hybrid pads for the Elite, rather their compatibility with the Empyrean which is not clear on your website (in spite of what has been posted here). Thanks for the clarification.

The fact that 2 different sets are included with the Empyrean surely is encouragement to experiment with pads

It seems puzzling and contradictory to me that they encourage switching earpads as a way of tuning the Empyrean, but suddenly now seem to be keeping the new pads just officially for the Elite with no mention of their cross-compatabillty.

They aren't showing in the drop down box for the Empyrean pads along with the the others, only for the Elite. They either aren't compatible or Meze don't seem to want to encourage Empyrean owners to purchase them.

So the new Elite hybrid earpads are now listed and specifically only for the Elite. Very disappointing.
