Exceptional in Every Detail: Say Hello to the IE 600

Just got the IE600. I think they sound great and are extremely comfortable. I do wish the cable was better designed but I find a lot of stock cables are kind of after thoughts. at least the senn cable is light. the monarch mk2 cable was an anchor lol

I do think my Monarch Mk2 have better tonality but those things are monsters.

I think the IE600 cable is fine. I don't like those unecessary thick and heavy 8-16 strand bling bling cables.
Yeah I would prefer no memory earhooks but it's done in a good way. It could be less microphonic but other than that. It's light, not too thick, doesn't tangle and the cable itself has zero memory effect.
Also that very low profile right angled connector is great.

The ear hooks don't really even rest on my ears no matter how much I mold them PXL_20230217_023121447.jpg

Can't you mold the top section down more where it is close to the normal cable? At least then your ear would hold it in place.

Pinch the memory wire part. It won't break👍

I try and it keep lifting up. Also because its more rigid it then keeps shape which makes taking it off and putting it back on tedious.

I ended up just caving and ordering the null audio cable. I wish the dunu sw2 came with recessed mmx connectors. That is by far my favorite cable and its only 79.99!

Also i swapped the ear tips to a size large W1 and its very comfortable! Medium would be ideal but those are on my monarchs. Hoping spinfit starts releasing single size packs of W1

I hate memory wire and the cable has more microphonics than I like. I have a null audio coming and can't wait. I almost bought the IE600 last week for $699 so when they went on sale this week for $599 I used the extra hundred bucks on that cable lol

Concur to that, actually the cable is of high quality, well made and nice to touch. Never had a slightest urge to change it. However I mostly use it stationary so my opinion would vary if used more/mostly outdoors.

Same with me and I don't mind it. It kinda hovers over ear less skin contact the better comfort. But I think you can try to bent it more making it rest on skin if you really need to.

Is it possible to return the IE 600 if they are not to my liking? The small written stuff always mentions "hygiene" as reasons to refuse.
I've returned IEMs to Amazon. IDK about Sennheiser specifically.

Using these around this house this week with the FiiO BTR7 is just amazing. I bumped up the sub bass just slightly on the EQ and it's absolutely divine with my main listening habits. I just spent an hour and change cleaning my whole place with that combo and it was just a pleasure. These are amazing little buds with a good source.
