I mostly watch movies on my laptop, so I wanted headphones that are super comfortable considering I'll have it on for long periods of time, also, I am only looking for circumaural headphones that have a really refined soundstage and possibly don't leak out too much sound, as I tend to watch...- JohnLD

Best headphones for my needs? (Bass heavy, noise isolating, noise canceling)
This is what I'm looking for: -durable -emphasized bass (I'm a bass head) -closed back (I don't want too much sound to bleed out) -noise canceling and/or isolating (I'm not using these words interchangeably, I'm asking for either both or one or the other) So far I've looked at: -Beyerdynamic...- JohnLD

Need advice on reasonably-priced movie headphones emphasizing comfort, bass, and soundstage...
Sennheiser HD439 is what you're looking for. They are very comfortable for long periods of time, your ears won't sweat or get too hot, and the soundstage is phenomenal. The bass isn't emphasized like beats, but it's realistic and good for movies, crisp and clear as well. The only problem is they...- JohnLD

All-round Headphones for Indoor use <US$100
I suggest you buy the Sennheiser HD 439. They have great soundstage which is very good for watching movies. As for music, it is great. It works better with certain genres that do not have a lot of percussion or electronic noises such as dub step. For example, country, classical and SOME rock...- JohnLD

Good Closed Back Portable Headphones?
I am not looking to spend a lot. I just need some solid cans. My budget is $150, but i will spend $175 at the most. I am looking for good bass response, that doesn't bleed. I have looked at AKG, Beyerdynamic, Sony, and Sennheiser and can not find something suitable. Any ideas?- JohnLD

Circumaural Headphones with Great bass?
I like the bass signature found in Beats, but I dont like beats because honestly, every tool I know has one. As of now, I own a pair of Sennheiser HD 439's which are circumaural open back headphones with great soundstage and I really cant complain about it. But Because of its lack in bass, I...- JohnLD

V-Moda LP2 vs M-Audio Q40 vs ATH-M50
Which has the best bass an isolation? Alot of people say the Q40's are better, but that's hard to believe since they're about half the price and only have 40mm drivers. Anyways can someone tell me out of THESE THREE ONLY, which is better? I already have a pair of sennheiser hd 449's so I don't...- JohnLD

The LP are circumaural (goes around your ear) and the m80 and v80 are supra aural meaning they rest on your ears. The m80 and v80 have 40 mm drivers. The LP has 50 mm drivers- JohnLD
