Modern alternative to the Denon D2k
I've always regretted not getting the D2k's.. I occasionally see a used pair go up for around $300 but they are always heavily used with a lot of wear. Too much to justify the price for me. Cheers for the replies! It looks like I really will have to give the TH-X00's a try. I keep getting...- DJPixcell

IE60 vs Vsonic GR07 BE
...looking for the same information here. Anyone own the IE 60's ??? I feel like it would be worth spending more for the IE 60's as they are similar to the IE 80's, which are awesome.- DJPixcell

Better deal for first "good" headphones - $128 Senn CX985 or $216 Westone 3's?
I paid over $300 with taxes for my westone 3's over a year ago, thought it was worth it then. for around $200, without a doubt. The sound is amazing you won't be disappointed.- DJPixcell

Sol Tracks HDs vs. ATH-M50s?
I personally love the M50's. They have a great sound its deep and warm, but not over-powering. I don't find it ever gets muddy or too pronounced. I haven't really listened to many Sol Republic products, only one to be exact.. but I don't remember what model it was. I remember being surprised...- DJPixcell

GR07 or IE 60
I am able to get both for similar price I was just wondering which everyone thinks would be the better option. The Sennheiser IE 60, or the Vsonic GR 07 ??? From my understanding the GR 07's are not only a great value, but one of the best out there. Its the IE 60's that I haven't heard...- DJPixcell

Recently Bought Westone 3's
Hello fine people of Head-fi. I very highly respect everyone in this forum, as I have a growing love for audio equipment. I'll start off with probably one of the most used phrases of the forum "I'm certainly not an audiophile", but after purchasing the Sony XBA-3 triple driver earphones I...- DJPixcell

Headphone Reccomendation (Tight, Loud, Punchy Bass)
Quote: I created this thread to find the best headphones for my specified genre really.. The headphones I purchased (the Shure's) are headphones I am using for now. I created this thread for my intentions on purchasing 'The Pair' once I have the money. Which I do not have right now. So...- DJPixcell

Headphone Reccomendation (Tight, Loud, Punchy Bass)
I thank you kindly for the reccomendations. I will make sure I have it set to myself to get the Ultrasones as the final main pair of headphones. I purchased today, the Shure SRH750DJ headphones. And I really do like them. The bass is certainly there, unamped, and still is really clear...- DJPixcell

Headphone Reccomendation (Tight, Loud, Punchy Bass)
allright, well I will certainly keep the Ultrasone's as the ones to get for the future.. I have a bit of money now and can get the Shure SRH750DJ headphones for about $120, locally. I have heard reviews that they are pretty good for bass as well, can anyone confirm this? While I know...- DJPixcell

Headphone Reccomendation (Tight, Loud, Punchy Bass)
Quote: Due to my location, would cost around $300 or more to get them. If these are the best, then I don't exactly need them right now.. as right now, I don't have good enough stuff to be worthy of such nice headphones. Just looking for something more affordable right now, but these...- DJPixcell

Headphone Reccomendation (Tight, Loud, Punchy Bass)
The ATH-M50s are looking real nice.. the price looks pretty good too. Reviews are great, and an emphasis that they are clear yet still have a nice punch. XB700's I always get some people saying that they are good, but I just don't know if they are BETTER or equal to others, such as the...- DJPixcell

Headphone Reccomendation (Tight, Loud, Punchy Bass)
Actually I only assumed the SRH840's were flatter.. as I have read that they are by no means a heavy sounding bass headphone.. just particular for clean clarity and obviously some bass. Been looking at the Sony MDR XB700's but Sony isn't a brand I usually turn to for headphones.. I...- DJPixcell

Headphone Reccomendation (Tight, Loud, Punchy Bass)
I have been window shopping headphones for.. god knows how long.. my original attention was at some AKG's, but I tried a pair of k240's that my friend had, and I really liked the sound, I just didn't think they were loud enough.. obviously thinking they need an amp.. Well I listen to A...- DJPixcell

Ipod's are a terrible source.
I just upgraded from my iPod Video 30gb, to an iPod touch 32gb, and I can deffenitley tell a difference in sound, which is surprizing to me, as I figured it would be the same. The iPod touch headphone jack is slightly curved as is the connector port, but it leaves some of the headphone plug...- DJPixcell

best price for a Denon AH-D5000
wont ship international, so probably wont be good to you.. but Amazon.com had them @ $369.99 a while back. Just saying, they may go down to this price again, if so, you could get another authorized dealer that price matches to ship to you.. asuming it is an international dealer.- DJPixcell

Skullcandy is funny.
This is what I don't understand about these headphones. They look fake, the craftsmanship looks old and falling appart, and its not skullcandys style, they always go for the style before sound. Which is why they are popular.. These things are mammoths and look horrible, not what skullcandy...- DJPixcell
