I've checked amazon and pricegrabber. The best price I've seen is in amazon but amazon is unwilling to send it to australia.

Any ideas?

I went to my local Hi-Fi shop and got mine for $600 CDN, much cheaper than the $550 plus taxes, shipping and border fees had I ordered from Amazon (and had Amazon been able to ship to Canada...).

I am from Australia, I ask a friend from the States to buy on my behalf and I pay him via Paypal, this method works well for me.

Not bad... but you can get the D7000 from the states for $700 CDN including all fees.

wont ship international, so probably wont be good to you..

but Amazon.com had them @ $369.99 a while back.

Just saying, they may go down to this price again, if so, you could get another authorized dealer that price matches to ship to you.. asuming it is an international dealer.
