Request for pictures
At one time I used to build amps for others. I would estimate in my building days I probably built in excess of 400 amps that I sent all over the world. Unfortunately, I did not keep any pictures of the builds and would love to have an album of sorts....just for memories. If you have any of the...- JMT

Trumpeter Freddie Hubbard in ICU
Jazz | JazzTimes Magazine > Columns and Features > News There is much speculation on his condition, even unconfirmed reports of his passing. I choose to believe that these reports are not true and that he is on the road to recovery. One of the greats!- JMT

iTunes help please
I just moved all of my music files to my external hard drive (drive F), but after reimporting all of the folders into iTunes, it still says it cannot find the files. Is there a way that I can direct iTunes to all of the files on my F drive rather than each of them individually? I did make the...- JMT

External hard drives
Since my home network IT guy (my son) moved out, I am on my own for all of the computer stuff. Unfortunately, I don't even know enough to be dangerous. So I apologize in advance for stupid questions. Our home computer is old, around three years, and has a small internal hard drive (around...- JMT

Digital camera recommendations
My trusty Canon A-6something camera finally bit the dust. I found a company locally that will diagnose and repair, but the diagnostics are $75 (deducted from the repair bill) if I go that route. Given that my old camera is only 3 megapixels, I think I'll just buy a new one. I have looked at the...- JMT

Are you smarter than a 5th grader?
I received this e-mail at work. The 10 year old daughter of one of my wife's co-workers had this as a homework question. There are 7 girls in a bus, each girl has 7 backpacks. In each backpack, there are 7 big cats, for every big cat there are 7 little cats. Question: How many legs are...- JMT

Portable unit for car use
Since my Pioneer Premier headunit is not compatible with my 4G iPod, rather than buy the adapter from Pioneer I figured it was as good a time as any to upgrade my portable player. A JMT musing
If you bore easily you might want to avoid this long post. Sometimes it’s good just to step away. I started this hobby back in 2000 when I was looking for a way to enjoy my music late at night and not disturb my wife and kids. I had headphones in the past and used a pair of Nakamichi SP7...- JMT

Michael Brecker passed away yesterday at the young age of 57 after a lengthy battle with cancer. You can read about him here.
