At the moment they are more musical and more fun. Still need a few more hours, but I do think Avalons will be more musical and detailed than PB in the end. Also I heard no bothersome peaks on the Avalon, and as for realism, the Avalons are way above the Elan. Thats my take at this stage. Still...- Maedhros

Hmm, W2 is way better, clearer and with a very clean background (no hissing), plus to me at least much more resolution. Sxfi (in off mode for the effects) both have the same sound stage. however sxfi effect (if the song works for it) has a very open 3d stage.- Maedhros

At least Compared to Queststylem12 and Sound blaster, it has no to almost no noise, sounds clean with detail and more than enough power at least to drive IMR and a a few other like QDC v14 and MEST series. As for raw power, creative's SX-fi has a little bit more power.- Maedhros

SOG has a Little bit more BASS and open stage. Where SOR is a little bit more subtle and technical.- Maedhros

The Astra is quite close to the MEST MK2, but for some reason the Astra has a slight more open field feeling (I'm trying to put it in words...) Still I think both are quite awesome in their own right! We will have to wait for the Avalon to also compare. I still keep the MEST MK2, however I do...- Maedhros

MKII is not that far from OG Mest and you are completely right the Astras ans Elans BC add more somehow than the MESTs. At least with my time on them.- Maedhros

You do have a point!! I mainly use foam for the breathability as I have severe sinus and a full seal usually means ear problems.- Maedhros

So, after a few weeks with the EDP+ and the ASTRA, I am about 80% of the way to full burn-in, got bogged down with a few things at work. But EDP+ still sits right there with the Ve 8 and Odin, maybe with I would say a little lees detail but more organic if that makes sense... As for the Astra...- Maedhros

Your description of the Astra is on point, they keep getting better to the point I'm using them over the Odin and Mest, there's something there that eludes full description and makes them a unique experience to each listener. Also on Blue/red which at the moment is my favorite combo, still got...- Maedhros

I would say go for it, but as Tiaa says talk to him, I just got them 20 minutes ago, FINALLY, and yes they sound as their name implies! And I'm still way early in the bake-in period, but just as a good cake smells awesome even in the oven, that is happening here!!- Maedhros
