Woo audio WA7 OR schitt valhalla/bifrost combo OR other recommendations?
Thanks for the reply Of the hybrids you suggested, which are the most "broadly compatible" (bad phrasing I know), This is just an upgrade of one part of my system so I'm after an amp that is a decent match for a large number of Mid-fi cans. possible future purchases are along the lines...- Davedog

If you had won the lottery what would you buy?
Whatever setup I bought, THIS would be my amp for anyone wondering, it's the amp for Disney's Fantasia project (inspiration courtesy of the best looking tube amps thread)- Davedog

Woo audio WA7 OR schitt valhalla/bifrost combo OR other recommendations?
I'm feeling the upgrade-itis itch and I'm thinking about getting a tube amp for some extra listening pleasure. As I'm a poor student, a large amount of my listening is done through spotify (on the highest quality it does... yes I know it's only 320kbit/sec) while I build up a respectable...- Davedog

=>xMythycle The HD555's are a good pair of cans at the asking price. When I borrowed my mates HD555's I found them to be very comfortable to wear and the sound is good for the price, 60 euros is a fairly good price and while there are better headphone out there the HD555's sound like...- Davedog

An unusual request: Does anybody know of a good set of cans for somebody suffering from hearing loss? My Old Man (55yrs old) has asked me to source a good pair of headphones for him now that I've been tagged as the family audiophile (Thank you, Head-fi...) he listens to a lot of...- Davedog

NEWS: Beats in a lawsuit with Yamaha
I can understand where the lawsuit is coming from and frankly, the styling IS a rip-off. but Copyrighting shapes is silly, all large over-ear headphones are going to have the same generic shape, 2 cans and a headband. yes beats are selling the look but trying to sue is almost as daft as say...- Davedog
