Wearing my 4.ai's on the bus.. The kids made fun of the wood. I guess they prefer shiny plastic to elegant wood

Weird. School bus? I don't think it would have ever occurred to me to make fun of someone's headphones.

Saw a pair of TMA-1s today, the usual Beats, and the exciting one, HE-400s, IN THE WILD! Crazy.

I live in a big-town college campus, and always get my hopes crashed when I see a decent looking pair of headphones only to find them being $40 Skull Candys or the typical Beats. Only sighting would be my friend who introduced me to Head-fi, but that doesn't count.

I've spotted the Philips citiscape uptowns numerous times on the bus, and one of my classmates has a Senn HD202, and another a XB500 and 700. (He likes bass).

Also I do see a lot of Beats, but eh...

Edit: Just remembered, I've seen a lot of HD201's for some reason. There's a shop in my city that sells them ("okaphone", I get my electronics stuff there!) and I guess that's where they got them.

In other news:
If I saw a good looking girls around my age wearing some nice headphones I would be starting a conversation faster than you could say "nice cans".

Someone said this to a girl before and got a very bad reaction. "Cans" is jargon used in audiophile circles and nowhere else, she'll think you're referring to her boobs.

I saw an international student in MSU wearing PSB m4u 2's and another person wearing HD598's outside. That last one was kinda weird.

Yeah, seeing it here so often and nowhere else is getting kind of old. It's fun to fantasise and all, but you can't use it in reality as planned.

A 12-year-old DJ named Elle Morgan uses the Crossfade LP (she was just featured on V-Moda's facebook page):

You thought 12 was young? Try 8-year-old DJ Kai, who sports the Pioneer HDJ-2000:

Their talent puts all of us to shame.

Last time on the Taiwan High Speed Rail I saw a girl listening to HD595 with the 10ft cable on her lap wrapped around by a twist tie...

That actually makes me think that if you had a nice enough cable (and were feminine enough for it), you could probably wrap it around your waist as a type of makeshift belt. Or something.

I also have no idea how women's clothing/fashion works, so it's not like I'd even have an idea of how to make it work.

Finally found some half decent stores!! Got to try out the krk kns8400(was impressed, bass wasnt as good as my hfi780s), senn hd558(bass was too shallow for my liking) and the P5s(i think open headphones are no good for me lol). Wanted to try the senn HD650, but i didnt think my little E11 would be able to power it, so i didnt wanna ask the guy to open the box..

Just walked past some1 on the train with a pair of HD25-ii
