For audiobooks, sansa clip zip. sorts books and music separately, auto-bookmarking, very light. slightly better than clip+ due to extras like radio and clock. best bang for your buck. For music, iBasso DX50. just works, sounds good. easy to use while driving, with the big playback control...- austonia

Schiit Modi USB DAC
So far i prefer O2/ODAC combo to the modi/magni stack. really wish Schiit would do a combo unit, they could certainly fit it in one enclosure instead of two plus RCA cables. wasted opportunity IMO- austonia

I'm sure it can be, but for small / medium size things it can be pretty cheap. for instance: bought an O2+ODAC from Australia recently, and the shipping cost was $14 to USA. That's like 9,000 miles. woh!- austonia
