Aurisonics ROCKETS: Impressions Thread
Mine is Asia version, I set the volume at 16-17 out of 30 for Rockets. My MDR1A around 14-15. I don't use any amp for this set-up. I have Ibasso dZero Mk II which I never use. I put portability and simplicity above all.- luck002

SONY NWZ-A10 Series
Yup I use it in my room with my window open, but my neighbourhood is kinda quite. When I tested it in the shop yesterday, I set it to 20-21 as there was an exhibition near the shop. Using it last night, I set the volume only at 14. Plus I'm using EQ, +2 Clear Bass, +1 in 6.3kHz, and +1...- luck002

SONY NWZ-A10 Series
Setting the volume to 17 out of 30 is too much already. Are you using Europe version? I test it to volume 20 and my ears are going to explode. 1A is much easier to drive compared to my Rockets (normally I set volume to 19-21 using Rockets). I've tested it using PHA-A2 in the store...- luck002

Just bought an MDR-1A, gosh it really sounds amazing with my a15. Glad I sold my VModa XS, as I was unhappy with it paired with A15. XS sounded great with my iPod Touch 5 though and it became a burden when I sold my iPod and bought A15. The MDR-1A sounds like my Aurisonics Rockets in...- luck002

Many people compared ER4 sounds to Aurisonics Rocket being almost identical. I use Rocket with A10, so it kinda like ER4 in an iron man suit.- luck002

Choose Rockets if you are looking for a super tough IEM, sound's good with every kind of musics, and non fatiguing for a long use. The stock tips is uncomfotable (confirmed by the majority here) so you can do some experiment mix matching with other IEM's tips. Isolation is good (depend on...- luck002

...a week later as a backup but ended up sell it to my friend (along with my iTouch 5) for another week. The sound is wonderful for some song, and ****ty for another. Sony walkman Tips and Tricks
How about playback of music by albums/artist that jump to the next album/artist instead of repeat/stop playing. When I was getting my first walkman, it really bugged me and I think this is one of the common problem for the walkman first timer.- luck002

I don't feel a need for >$100 amp yet for now and Oppo things is kinda rare here too. Lol, we have almost the same taste, though above 45 is too much for me. Reading this post make me miss my PX200-ii. Nothing can beat PX portability I guess.- luck002

You are lucky to have that kind of partner. I've seen so many one sided gay love in my life (a nice hard working guy with a gold-digger partner). Sometime it scare me to find my own partner. ---------- I've tried using Fiio E11k and E12k in audio store and I barely feel any improvement...- luck002

I use my A15 with my Rockets. I just can compare it with iPod touch 5 though and I think Rocket+iTouch 5 sound more fun without EQ while it quite flat with A15 without EQ and any effect. Just turn on ClearAudio+ to make it fun if you want to (and sound better than iTouch 5). Guess iTouch 5...- luck002
