i've tried the JH16 universal. its bass its monstrous, goes down deep, punchy and extremely detailed.. and its bass dont bleed up to the midrange. and the treble is so smooth.. you should get them..- AhokZYashA

AH D2000 has more midbass and bigger soundstage compared to M50.. and a sweeter mids i think.. M50 trumps the rest.. :D- AhokZYashA

i was wondering why my M50 is so bass light.. its because the pads hardened, and net giving a good seal.. bass is very light, almost as light as RE-ZERO but after changing the pads, the bass has gone up again. :D- AhokZYashA

strange enough i never saw any beats here in my town, but craploads of ibuds everywhere. and loads of those mixstyle colorful headphones,, oh and saw at least one IE6 and 1 PX80 thank god all of my schoolmates dont have beats, they always come to me if they want to do a headphone...- AhokZYashA

Best bass under $100 ??
HD448 is not bass heavy. in fact its a bass anemic cans.. if you want the best bass for under 100$ you can get the V-jays and the XB700 where the XB700 have the bigger and boomier bass. or if you want to spend a bit more, M50 is a very good choice- AhokZYashA
