iAudio X5 vs iPod
I have never even seen an X5 much less heard one so no comment. However, I have 3 Creative Zens and I have to disagree on the overly bright sound. Nano+, Sleek Photo and Vision:M 60 all sound very full, smooth, great bass and flowing full highs. Phones are KSC35 or HD600 with Total Airhead...- gaineso

Mazda3 or Toyota Corolla
...any lag in the transmission. Of course, if I'm pushing it I shift it manually but There really isn't much need to push it to blow away the "F*rt can" equipped Civics and Corollas. Gets close to 30 in town, over 40 with cruis on 80. Good factory sound for what you pay and it really handles...- gaineso

USGP-2005
Formula One hasn't been fun since Fangio and Moss retired. NASCAR has gotten to money oriented. WRC is good but I think I'll stick with WoO. The winged sprints are fun. And that's what it's really supposed to all be about. Long live King Kinser.- gaineso

Paul Mcartney Superbowl Half Time Show
An interview on local TV, Paul said there wouldn't be a wardrobe malfunction. "We're playing naked!". I think it'll be a lot better show than that disaster last year. Everybody on stage last year couldn't combine to have the talent McCartney has.- gaineso

What are reading right now?
Dragon Rider series by Anne McCaffrey again. Read most of the Dirk Pitt stuff by Clive Cussler. Keeps interest and kills time. He was very involved in the project to find the Hunley, the Confederate sub from the War of Northern Aggression.- gaineso

Why are so many Head-Fiers sensitive about their age?
I'm 61 and amaze myself every morning I wake up. If I'da known I was gonna live this long, I'da took better care of myself. Of course, Grandkids and a Great-Grandson are fun benefits of gettin old.- gaineso

Best drug-related album/CD or most "trippy" CD/album...
Can't believe nobody's mention the Airplane. Surealistic Pillow, Volunteers, etc. Country Joe & the Fish; Not So Sweet Martha Loraine. One that I'm sure he wishes a few of us would forget; First Edition featuring Kenny Rogers, Just Dropped In. Yeah that Kenny Rogers. I guess I'm old. -

Ocean Rowing
As far as NASCAR, they are some of the best, endurance trained athletes in the world. 3 to 4 hours in 130* plus temperatures, wearing a fire retardant suit, driving side by side at up to 200 MPH where the slightest distraction or inattention puts somebody into the concrete out of bounds...- gaineso

If you don't think golf at the top takes hard work and dedication, check out Tiger and the guys that are trying to beat him. BTW, anybody catch the finish at Darlington yesterday????? 400 miles and Craven won by 0.002 seconds. Not really sure how they even time it that close.- gaineso

PALM PILOT M515
I got a great deal from Palm on my m505. Love it and the color screen is great 'cause I use it for games and maps. The m500 is the monchrome version. The 515 has more memory, but I have expansion cards, so don't have a problem with memory, at least yet.- gaineso
