Excellent review and aligns perfectly with my experience as a happy V2 and V2 Stealth owner. I love having very different listening experiences available with two closely related headphones.

To me it is not a downgrade, but an alternative experience. The bass impact and depth to the soundstage present music very differently on the stealth. I listen the the V2 when I want to get lost in the music. I reach for the stealth when I want to be in the middle of it.

I would say V2. Compared to my HD800, the V2 width is just ever so slightly less.

Fair. I went through at least seven other tips (in addition to the OEM) and found these to be the best for me in terms of fit, seal and sound quality. I’ve been using them for 5 months with no sign of crumbling (yet).
