My budget is $800-$1300 for a DAC and an AMP, and I'm leaning towards the HEv2Stealth because it's much easier for me to get it from where I live. Thanks! No EQ please, thanks!

Apparently the Cayin HA3 is a good match for the Stealths, I hope to give it a try. I recently got hold of an Icon HP8 Signature with shuguang black treasure tubes, sounds great with my Spring 3 & Stealth’s

EF600 may be a good option. EF400 drives HEKV2 pretty good. I'm sure the EF600 would be good match for stealth version. If you're ok with AIO. They're supposed to start shipping this week.

Sounds like a good idea, I think I'll wait for the review. Plus I think Japan will get it late anyway like they always do. I might be able to snag one from Taobao.

That actually looks very promising, although I'll have to make new custom cables for it, since most of my cables are 4.4mm haha.

DDHiFi makes a 4.4mm to 4pin XLR adapter. Could prob find some cheaper ones on AliExpress, etc.

Very helpful thank you! I'm still on the fence between which one to get. I can get stealth new for $1400 but V2 used for $1750. But the Stealth has so many mixed impressions between people compared to the V2 where everyone agrees that its good. So we'll see.

I think it depends what type of sound you are looking for. Your preferences and what you prioritize as far as sound characteristics. Essentially, they're gonna have the same type of sound signature, just different presentations.

You prefer forward/engaging or laid-back? Do you care about having the widest soundstage available? Do you care about efficiency, like being able to drive out of portable devices? Etc.

$1400 for a brand new stealth version is a heck of a deal though.

Yeah it is an amazing deal, So I might just pull the trigger on it. I have the Clear MG and SR325x, I'm just looking for as many different type of sound signatures to add to my collection Which one would you recommend personally, collection wise? Thanks again for the reply. Once again. I really appreciate the help!
