Does there exist any issues in utilizing 0.1uF polar tantalum caps for the opamp filter caps? I would suspect the positive leads would face eachother. Would this be correct?- TrevorNetwork

Tranformer hum...
Hi all, I have cased up the dynahi (similar to Rsaavedra's) and I now have a hum (60hz). Unfortunately it is induced on the board, and not the input wires. So shielding the input wires will not really help. I removed the input wires from the board all together, and still heard a light hum. I...- TrevorNetwork

Help with my DAC1
I have hooked the DAC1 up to my Sony DVD player, and the headphone outs sound great. I am thoroughly impressed. However, when utilizing the RCA outs there is a significant amount of buzz. How are the W2002s out of the DAC1?
It is my understanding from reading some old threads that the W2002 is unique in that it does well with a "clinical" sounding source/amp. Have anyone tried the DAC1's headphone jack with the W2002? What about the DAC1 as a source with a different amp? A Gilmore perhaps? Cheers! Trevor- TrevorNetwork
