CanJam Singapore 2017 (March 11-12, 2017)
So excited that Canjam SG 2017 is just round the corner. If anyone is interested, I can organise a small meet as well as a dinner session on both day. The small meet will probably be held at a nearby cafe an hour or two before the event. For dinner, it would probably be right after the event...- lbbef

I have the Oyaide Neo Class S USB Rev 2. Ever since PCOCC got discontinued, Oyaide has been updating their products to use their new own 102SSC conductor. I also have the PA-02 V2 RCA (102SSC) as well as Oyaide's mini to mini interconnects in both 102SSC (newer) and PCOCC (older). Haven't...- lbbef

Don't worry too much about the distance. You can pretty much get from one end of the island to the other in slightly more than an hour by train. Pan Pacific is right smack in the middle so it's pretty convenient.- lbbef

SONY NW-A30 SERIES
That was part of the reason why I went for the AK70 instead of the A30 as a transport for my Mojo since it was too bulky. The other reason being it doesn't sound that good as a transport as compared to the AK70.- lbbef

Regarding the microSD cards, I have gotten fake Samsung cards from Amazon (sold by Amazon.com) before. Bought 4 cards from them but 1 of them looked visibly different (both product and packaging) from the other 3. Went online, did some search and found out they were fake. Used some tool (can't...- lbbef

As promised, here are some pictures of my AK70 Twilight Rose. Depending on the light level, light colour and angle, the colour looks pretty different. In daylight it has a very nice and cute rose pink Really love the colour but it doesn't really seem to fit my stack so I'm considering selling...- lbbef

Anyone interested in the purple or magenta case? I'm probably going to order my AK70 from Japan and they're giving me a choice of the emerald, magenta or purple case, but I'm most probably going to go for the black one.- lbbef

From what I know, glass protectors are supposed to protect the screen from breaking on impact. Not sure what's the physics behind it but it seems that most people's experience with glass protectors suggest so too.- lbbef

SONY NW-A30 SERIES
Fron experience, I'd highly recommended or at least be careful when getting glass protectors from China. Cheap but the quality just isn't there. Some aren't even glass but is plastic with hard coating. My friend bought a glass protector for his iPhone. When he accidentally dropped his phone...- lbbef

That's true. What you wrote does make sense. There are many debatable things in this hobby. For me personally, I wouldn't say that there is a difference between A and B unless I have tested it and have heard differences in multiple setups. But I would still take my own conclusions with a pinch...- lbbef

I don't think anyone has done any formal research into this. But you can read about the experiment Alex from AK did in the following links. They didn't post numbers but did say that there were measurable differences. https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1123526094352525&id=100000854347138...- lbbef

Because different transports do affect the sound too. It doesn't really change the sound signature but a better transport makes the sound more smooth with less harshness and grain. I've tried on a few transports before and have shared my experience in the mojo thread. I remember Alex (from...- lbbef
