Need Over Ear Phones: Senn HD201, HD202 or EH150
Eh, from what you currently have, i think its better that you save up for a more worthwhile upgrade. That SR60 is a great headphone already, if you can manage to fix it (TAPE! ).- h4n9m4n

Spare op-amps: worth using?
I'm looking to get a new sound card soon (probably Xonar D2X) and I have some op amps laying around from a previous mod. I have some LTC6241, LTC6241HV, and an AD823. Would they be any improvement if I swapped one of them in? I listen on a measly DT770 pro80. Also, if they do make a difference...- h4n9m4n

Grado Headphones Questions
They won't replace your IEMs if you are looking for isolation, the Grado's are way too open. They aren't that large, however.- h4n9m4n

What do you think Opening Ceremony of Beijing Olympics
The show was magnificent and possibly the best display of HUMAN ability (the central theme of the olympics). I'm scouring the nets for better footage of it. off topic: China powers the world economy with its labor force. Cheap products are what set USA's standard of living so high. The...- h4n9m4n

The "safety" of IEMs.
OH GOD DO NOT DRIVE WITH ANY IEM. Consider your safety over the ability to listen to nice headphones while driving. Use your car stereo instead, even if it sounds worse. And also, even though those bluetooth things look goofy to you, they are there for a reason: safety. There are bad drivers...- h4n9m4n

Right ear now very quiet on my UM-1's
Check for earwax. That's usually the problem when things like this happen. It sounds gross, but it's true. To get it out, try a little hydrogen peroxide (don't get any on the driver itself, though!)- h4n9m4n

Yard Sale help!
Well i just came back from a yard sale down the street. The guy had a big ol' box of electron tubes. I saw brands like RCA, Sylvania, Tung-sol, Mullard, GE, and some other ones i dont remember the names of. There were probably id say over 50 tubes in that box. He proposed $50 for the whole box...- h4n9m4n

how do you take apart the cups on the dt770 pro 80?
1.Take off the cups from the headband with a phillips head screwdriver. 2.The pads are taken off simply by pulling them off from the sides. 3.Use a flat head screwdriver to carefully pry off the center piece from the outer ring. Done!- h4n9m4n

Any runners in the house?
I run track and cross-country. The longest I've ever run was like 13 miles (for practice). Usually I like to participate in 5K (3 mile) events. Good job on running so well without practice! For me, when I'm out of shape, I can't run well at all.- h4n9m4n
