Not really such a stupid question.  Had to do it yesterday.   You need to plug the Mojo with the power off into the 3.5 jack on the back of the LC. Then hold down all Three eye ball down until the power comes on and your at line level (just using the DAC section of the Mojo)  the two volume...

You might want to give the Chord Mojo a look.  Great DAC and will work well as a portable too

I have been using my 99 classic for about three months.  Bought them with my own hard earned money.  Please look at my review for more information.  I still think they are a great bargain . Love the sound and design.
