Venture Electronics RA2BFE Impressions and discussion.
I actually was talking about the Pulwtop USB Hub. I see you have the RU6 running from it into the RA2BFE. What is the sound source you are running and how does it go through the RU6 if it is connected through the power usb port? Thank you for your advice above by the way. Does it go: Hiby...- playininjapan

Venture Electronics RA2BFE Impressions and discussion.
Hello! I'm thinking of buying this particular piece and run it from a Hiby DAP through the Cayin RU6 dongle to the RA2BFE. Do I need that power bank, if so what is it and does it do Data transfer? Can't I just run it from the Hiby player through the RU6 and into the amp? The setup looks great...- playininjapan

Oriveti IEMs - 2023/2024 new line-up
Oriveti OD200 - "Money CAN buy Happiness" If I were a reviewer, that's the headline. In fact it may as well be the entire review. I have spent nearly ten years searching for an IEM that could really wow me. Constantly scaling in price yet compromising in fit or some niggling factor keeping my...- playininjapan

IMR Audio : Sonic Adventures & Impressions
I'm with you on the DM. Due to a recommendation a few pages back I "scaled down" from lower black to a grey-blue upper combo. Both are fantastic. Performance totally changed with the R5 on high gain. I preferred the Opus Mia on low gain, but these things like the juice! For a live concert...- playininjapan

The sedna Earfits are really good, but I also ghad these to increase the bass of the Opus Mia, and they worked pretty well. Audio Technica Solid Bass. It was a bit of an overkill with the Dark Matter. If you can find them, it may be worth a shot. They run rather big though....- playininjapan

IMR Audio : Sonic Adventures & Impressions
I wouldn't say basshead. I bought them for live rock and roll recordings. The bass instrument really shines, more so than with the Opus Mia, which I felt was extremely separated, leading to analysis of the music rather than the simple joy of listening. I can feel the push of the air by the bass...- playininjapan

IMR Audio : Sonic Adventures & Impressions
Had a bit of a happy accident. Was down at the local electronics store, and wanted to check out the size of these tips just for the hell of it. Ended up ripping the box, so I decided to buy them. JVC Spiral Dots with a wide bore opening for about $15 for 6. "For a clear sound experience" it says...- playininjapan

The top (blue) is the original. I just cut that "memory wire" as you can see with the bottom (red). Not the prettiest of jobs but it beats my DM getting flung about if I move my head a few centimeters.- playininjapan

Regarding the stock cable, I took an x-acto knife, cut and pulled out the plastic tube part which is close to the shell. Gets rid of the annoying stiffness and results in a decent fit. It was driving me crazy. I have the Dark Matter. Blows the Opus Mia out of the water. Completely. No questions...- playininjapan

+1 on the Rah. The only way I can describe it is just "easy" or "effortless" It takes you to where you want to go. Musical and into the music. Plug and play. I never think about anything else but the music when I'm listening to the Rah. I have the OM, while it is technically superior I...- playininjapan
