Going fully Wireless IEMs. Too soon? Or are we there yet?

Does anybody have any experience with the kef mu3?

I too think the elite 10s sound fantastic, with a refined and balanced sound. The fit however was a reason to return therm. I missed the snug and secure fit which the Jabra T75 do offer. Also the passive noise cancellation of the T75 seem a bit better, which is a huge plus in the gym. I was...

"Less than you have feet apparently" is always my go to answer. Although, sleeping on the couch is a bit chilly these days, so I do watch my mouth more.

Bought these for €20, just for the fun of it. Soundpeats Free2 Classic. I was not expecting much for that price, but I'm really surprised! The sound quality is quite good with a deep reaching (boosted) bass and otherwise quite balanced sound. The voices are not the most natural, but guitars and...

Same here. Also the tips of the samsung galaxy buds 2 pro didn't reach far enough into my ears. Fixed that somewhat by ordering oval double flanged tips of AliExpress. Wouldn't really recommend it though, since they sometimes come loose and you'll have to wiggle your ear to get your tip back :D...

Looking forward to your impressions of the Jabra Elite 10, one of the few high end button controlled IEMs. Their olive style tips refrain me from buying them full price, since the Samsung buds 2 pro don't fit me very well. Their older model, the Jabra 75T fits like cinderella's shoe in my...

Do the MTW3 have the fuller sub bass or is this the 3ANC you're describing? I just returned the Sony C700N. Although they possess a lovely dynamic midrange. The subbass is definitely lacking. I'm currently using the Samsung Buds 2 Pro, they sound great, but their fit is an issue. Also...

REVIEW: Vivo Xplay 3S + XE800 Mobile audio perfection

They look different than the ones I have and wrote a review about. They sound brightish, natural to me with great resolution.

    DUNU DM-480, DM-380 impressions thread

My take on the DM-480: https://www.head-fi.org/showcase/dunu-dm-480.24117/reviews TL;DR: Great IEMs, well worth their money, just too much of a U-shape/thinny mids for me.

Review by 'Pastapipo' on item 'Dunu DM-480'

Introduction. Dunu approached me and offered me a chance to review their new DM-480, a dual 8mm dynamic in-ear with a removable cable. They retail for around 63 euro's and come in two colours. It's been a while since I reviewed some gear, so this was a nice opportunity to return to the game...

    DUNU DM-480, DM-380 impressions thread

I think Baskingshark nailed it here. A U-shape however, is not my thing. I'm missing the middle frequencies and keep increasing the volume to compensate for it. Remember I said I noticed harshness at higher volumes? That's just my ears protesting to the volume, not distortion from the...

    DUNU DM-480, DM-380 impressions thread

Received my review sample yesterday. First impressions OOTB are positive as well! Nice, this is exactly what I experienced upon first listen. The bass has the ability to 'shake the room' but it does not interfere with the spacious and well separated mids/highs. Very enjoyable. Separating the...

Denon AH-D1200 portable over-ear impressions, appreciation, and discussion thread.

I did a short side by side with the SRH 840 and the D1200 and have to admit the Shures are the 'better' of the two. The detail, soundstage and tightness is a step ahead of the D1200. I do think the D1200 are more 'fun' (bit warmer on the midrange (guitars +1) and more subbass for example), but...
