I didn't know you could get bass fatigue... I have a pair of Darth Beyer DT770/80s and I think the bass is perfect. IMO the Sony V6s don't even compare, and the 325i's, while probably having better highs and comparable mids, are decidedly inferior in their production of bass, sound staging...

If you live in the US and near a Guitar Center you might consider the DT770/80s... I think they sometimes match Amazon's price for the 770/250s? Worth a try. I think the 770/250s would probably sound like crap without an amp, but that is my opinion... You might also want to consider...

Umm I went with the Bloodwood... It's similar to the Paduak but the colour is a little bit more red/richer. I didn't go with the screen option simply because I still want them to be somewhat closed/noise canceling. I'll certainly post a review when I get them (probably in a few weeks).
