    AKG K702 Impressions.

I’ve been listening to the K702 for over a month now and I wouldn’t change a word of this post.

HIFIMAN Arya (& 2021 Stealth Magnet version) - Impressions Thread

I’m thinking about getting an Arya Stealth when I finally make the jump to a kilobuck pair in the coming months. Will my Topping L30 be okay or do I need to buy a new amp?

Her (and her sister’s) fur is everywhere. I constantly have fur on all my headphones. I’ve tried preventing them from being near that area, but to no avail. I keep a lint roller at my desk and have to use it to remove the fur from my headphone pads almost daily. That’s my kind of pad rolling.

    AKG K702 Impressions.

I agree with this. There isn’t a lot of bass, but it’s very tight. I don’t feel like I’m missing anything. If I want a more bassy sound, I have other headphones for that. But for what the K702 is - a big, wide, airy, detailed, precise headphone - I think the bass is perfectly good. Anyways, to...

It looks like I’m in the same position as a bunch of other people in this thread - I love my Hemp and am tempted to get an RS1x. Reading through some of the comparisons here, it sounds like the RS1x is a headphone that offers more detail, more spaciousness, and less bass. But that got me...

DMS just reviewed the SR60X and SR80X. Summary: * He enjoys the SR60X as a budget option. They don’t measure well and won’t please the measurement crowd, but he likes them subjectively, particularly with the Geekria G pads. * He’s not a fan of their build, although they do seem to last. *...

They’re pretty different. Koss headphones are more balanced and more ‘complete’ (particularly the KPH30i) than Grados are, but as much as I like my Koss, I still prefer my Grados by a fair bit. Here’s how I’ve previously described them: __________ I love my KPH30i, but they’re not a...

    AirPods Max

Well, this is interesting. The man in charge of audio at Apple just hinted that Apple may have a plan to move beyond Bluetooth. This is from an interview with Gary Geaves, Apple’s VP of Acoustics and the man who used to run R&D at Bowers & Wilkins for many years (until Apple poached him).

    AirPods Max

I don’t think there’s a way to do it manually. Just listen to them for a minute, take them off, plug them in to charge, and after a while, check their info in the Bluetooth menu and see if they’re on firmware version 4C165.

I’m noticing the exact same thing. They sound more forward, more exciting, and also more textured. One thing I’ve always said about the APM is they’re fine at detail but they lack microdetail. If there’s a complex piece of music playing, you could hear every individual note separated quite...

I’m curious, what does everyone here do in terms of listening to a wireless-only device? For example, I have an Apple TV 4K box, which I use for all my TV and movie watching. The Apple TV box does not have a headphone jack, so when I want to watch a movie/show with headphones, I have to use...
