Re:  Playlists --  I have been using Foobar to make my playlists for the X5-2.  Anyone have experience with that on the X5-3?   I have used MediaMonkey in the past but have found Foobar to be simpler and more intuitive.  Maybe not as flexible.

As an ENT, I would also emphasize that it is not just the volume that causes damage but also the duration of exposure.  Hence OSHA limits on industrial noise exposure that include duration as well as dB.

I've toned down the treble a little on the 200J but haven't found it harsh. 

Have you tried any of DUNU earphones?   Wide variety of prices and signatures.  Really like my DN-2000J and comes with a variety of tips to enhance comfort and tune the sound.

I love the Lockscreen 3 feature.  Its the one thing that has kept me from getting the X7.  I can stop or skip songs in my car without having to take my eyes off the road.

And not mentioned in the online manual.

Yes,  there is a character limit, I don't remember what it is, that past that point the file will not be recognized on random play or playlists.  If you go on the regular discussion group for the X5ii you can probably find it.

Not sure if you are using a PC or Mac but on my PC I have found that the simplest way to a playlist was using Foobar2000.   Plug in the Fiio or take the card out and read it directly.  Go to Add Files or Add folder.  Keep adding as many as you want.  Just make sure you are pulling the files from...
