FiiO X5 2nd gen Impressions and Discussion thread

  Hi Steve

I've read some reviews on the 2000J and they say the bass is good, but the treble is quite strong. As someone who is treble sensitive, and find the Dunu Titan and FiiO EX1 a bit harsh, how do you fine  the J's?

Regards

Darren

From what I've read here, I must really like treble cause nothing I have has given me any issues with the 2000J.

I'm sure George has the inside track on what would be best :)

I must say that I am very satisfied of x5ii, after many eventually dap this satisfies me, I only have one small criticism it is that the suondstage a little tight but the rest is perfect.

I can not believe it!!! I tried: iBasso DX80, akjr, onkyo dp x1, each had its serious problems ...... x5ii perfect sound, balanced, detailed and does not tire the hearing, with only 359 Euros are happy and the dap sounding absolute best with my grado sr225e.
great fiio

this dap is the only grado that does not return a fatiguing sound and sharp, but a full-bodied and detailed sound, I said change the headphones not the dap, but to me the sound grado really enjoy and I finally found the suitable dap.

I'm glad you all like your X5ii's. I have the X5 and remain as amazed by the SQ as the day I got it.

I posted this question in the X5 thread, with mixed reactions. Who here has paired the X5ii with Sennheiser 600's?

I'm assuming the X5 and X5ii are close enough in sound signature to ask here.
