As part of simplifying my setup (including selling my home setup completely and going strictly portable) I recently sold my MicroDAC + iHP-140 to instead go to iMod. It's funny to me because I originally had iPod, went to MicroDAC for FLAC + better DAC (via MicroDAC) and now back to iPod...

Hi Ray, I had PM'd you before returning the Hornet, with question of whether I needed more time to evaluate it or whether I was seeing its true signature -- I did not receive response so this is why I returned it. Anyways, now after skimming through this thread, I wonder if I returned it...

Once you get the USB cable, charger etc, make sure you get the RockBox firmware -- but of course you probably already know that!

Has anyone compared: MicroDAC + SR-71 vs. MicroDAC + MicroAmp I'm VERY happy with SR-71, but of course am always curious what else is out there too
