My MkIII just arrived about 15 mins ago! Got it hooked up using a crappy ass cable I got from across the road (cos im using my d1 as dac and it has mini out, not rca :/) but fear not, I am also working on making my own cables when I get all the stuff together. It is definatly the...- GiR

Pico Vs Predator as DAC only - need advice
I have read through countless threads at this stage on these two amp/dacs. However I could not find out the info I needed. I know they are both fantastically good for their price in terms of SQ and their Dac sections. However, I would be looking at using it as a dac only feeding into a Little...- GiR

Suggest a desktop DAC for PC -> DAC -> LD MkIII
I'm considering getting a desktop DAC. I have a Little Dot MkIII on its way to me and I am using my pc for playback ALAC/FLAC. I was/am going to be getting a Pico, although I am impatient and was also thinking of a more non portable solution. I would prefer as cheap as possible but I...- GiR

DT770 (250Ω) Amp...???
To be honest I got the 2005 versions for the same reason, I just think they look a lot better The only issue I have with them is managing the cable, its quite long for portable/pc use :P I'm throwing around the idea of getting them recabled to about a 3ft cable. Or (more likely - im poor...- GiR

Ibasso D1 + Beyerdynamic DT770 250 ohm
I have this exact setup and yes, it is quite sufficient. They are enopugh to make em LOUD if thats your thing but you dont need to, they sound great at quite moderate levels. Although the bass can seem a little weak at quite low volumes but I think this is less of actual weak bass and more that...- GiR

DT770 (250Ω) Amp...???
For what it's worth I have these headphones myself. I can run them straight out of a player and it is still listenable. (Its an iRiver h120 at the moment) but when I put them through the amp (an iBasso D1) everything sounds quite a lot better. I couldn't really notice it when I first started...- GiR

Yeah, I would be using it with the D1. And obviously comfort is a big issue. I can wear whatever tbh, its not a big deal, if it wsant for the sound leaking I would be using the 325i's EDIT - I would probably end up wanting something else anyway due to comfort issues- GiR
