    SoundMAGIC PL30 Problems

I've recently received my pl30's from Mp4nation. The bass knobs were tight enough to shred my fingernails. A little gentle persuasion from needle nosed pliers made the bass adjustment possible. I can imagine if you were not sufficiently gentle the adjustment knob could be broken off quite...

Best AA batteries for sound quality

Talk to the experts ... http://www.candlepowerforums.com/vb/...isplay.php?f=9 It seems they prefer eneloops for build quality and LSD (low self discharge) ... and lithiums for extra current.

    The Sony D-NE430 has appeared!

A pleasant surprise is the quality of the included buds. With a few hours burn in, and level one "clearbass" they are quite acceptable for casual listening imho ... Navigation of menus and tracks is easy and radio sound quality is good, but of course reception is dependent upon your...

    The Sony D-NE430 has appeared!

I purchased an nf431 yesterday. Cost $100 US (Thailand) came with stick remote (no lcd), power adapter and a cheap carry case. Will reserve comments for a few days till the "newness" factor wears off.

    Panasonic RP-HJE50's

Howdy Lou ... I consider the Panas to be the "best buy" in the cheap canalphone sector. Most of the good points of the md-33s with a considerably less harsh top end. Real good value for money. I'd still have them now but I couldnt get a good fit to my ear with the supplied plugs. B.

SHORT THOUGHTS ON THE ALESSANDRO MS-1

HI Lou ... been following your headphone journey with interest. I've had my ms-1 for about two days now and for the most part am very happy. They sound great out of my pcdp and really have substantially improved with around 20 hours burn in. However ... my one disappointment is from my...

Is PHilips HP890 worth the money?

If my memory serves me correctly ... the HP890 were being sold across the bridge in Malaysia for as little as 30 USD . An excellent choice if your on a tight budget and can locate them around that price.

    Philips HP 890 Headphones

I believe I was the first head-fier to bite the bullet and actually purchase a pair of 890s. I sold them after about 12 months of moderate use with zero problems and no visible signs of wear. In other words after a years use in a rather hot climate they remained in perfect condition...

    ksc-35 vs mdr-d66 eggos?

Having owned the both the V6 and Koss 35 I would have to say that the 35s are "more my cup of tea". In fact I wasn't impressed at all with the V6, though they have quite a reputation here. Cant comment on the eggos ... they certainly seem the flavour of the month.
