For those who bought A5, it's really worth to pairing with X5? I mean X5 is a great player, but sometimes feel it sounds thin and shy....

Don't be shy, you could tell us more, or even better, send Fiio this firmware, to that they could learn how to do it right.

You are correct. Just physical noise, which i haven't noticed before. Nothing that impact in sound quality, just a bit annoying. Anyway hope I'm just paranoid and the wheel don't have any malfunction in future.

Ok guys, after doing many A/B comparisons, I must say that I noticed that single mode sounds better than balanced to my ears. On 3.5mm the sound seem to have more clarity and even more dynamic (I can hear more nuances). This seem a little oddly and want to know if someone else experienced such...

Hey guys just got my FiioX5iii.... I see many pages behind that Fiio wrote charging specs... But can't find it right now. Can someone please write it down to me? BTW i just have 5v 1A (smartphone) charger here, will it do??

Does the Fiio intends to launch an amp with balanced output to pairs with X5iii?    Btw, could't resist and my X5iii is on the way!! ;)

@WindowsX thank you for efforting an alternative fw for us. You should be contracted by fiio :)   Hope Fiio consider these feedbacks and put old audio kernel in future fws.... But anyway may they are still testing for get the sound on the spot.

May be a noob question, but what is the advantage of the coax line out, if sending digital out it will be reprocessed with another DAC, and possibly a worse one....???

I'd most using my smartphone and laptop as source, as lately I'm not at home to listem them with my home systems. I'm now more than tempted to buy a dap, just don't know which one yet, but I'm searching a dap that has stream possibility (Is a must for me).

    How much it mellowed the treble? You can hear a big difference? I ask because I'm really really annoyed with the treble of MM400, which fatigue me really fast.
