The Hardest hitting Headphones are.. ( "The EXTREME BASS Club")
I am rocking stock pads for now. They work fine for me. I agree i never ever EVER use over ears outside. Someone even tried to compliment me on them but he had to smack me on the shoulder because I didn't realize quite how much these isolate. Keepers? Yup the bottom end is powerful, capable...- vapman

FedEx had my DD's waiting for me when I got home. Ripped that notch open and plugged those notches in. Consider me FULLY IMPRESSED, crazy wide open stage that is simply ridiculous for a closed back. the venting holes work. and deep rumbling sub tones on acoustic drums comes thru clearer than...- vapman

Hbb and dr blue both singing a headphones praise might be the highest level of respect for a product i could hope to hear. Hopefully my dd will be at home when i get back today? I never got a tracking # but drblue got his pretty fast so im hopeful. Then again he's closer to DD HQ- vapman

^^^ If turbo mode 4W could damage the SZ's, mine would be very very broken by now. I'm turbo-ing my SZ2ks with the bass switch on right now.- vapman

You'll be glad you did. I also got rid of my mojo long ago with lack of bass power being one of the reasons why. But whereas on the old iDSD I had the bass boost always on and never touched it, I don't always have it on with my black edition. The thing to remember about the black edition's...- vapman

I bought the dd's before i even watched hbb's video, and then i watched and stoked is all i can say.... This breaks a long long streak of only sz's. Oh my god, dd headphones!!!! This is completely unexpected. Fully sick! Will test with idsd black edition. I need to figure out how to edit...- vapman

I grabbed some of the KZ Star tips that are so popular. They fit fine on Sony style IEMs but somehow manage to make all the sub frequencies disappear. Slapped my good ol Spiral Dots or Sony hybrid tips back on and the bass came right back.- vapman

I had that one on order and the cancelled it for the one i now have when i saw a review by someone who had both and claimed the smaller one had superior low end! Otherwise we would have had matching amps. But yeah not bad at all! Claims 1400mw @ 32 ohms- vapman

$55 on Amazon tube amp is tiny and hits harder than expected. Was unsure if i'd even bother trying it, until when I saw one of the reviewers had a set of SZ2k sitting next to his lil itty bitty Nobsound and said it delivered impressive SPL. I have been listening for about 30 minutes I am...- vapman

Got this today never heard the jbl you had and i liked my smaller angle... It slams. The main complaint on amazon: lowest volume is too loud still! So i thought it might be a winner Sure enough i give it the same ol -14 pre gain eq with fat sub boost... Oh BOY does it rumble hard but stay...- vapman

I hope you didnt think i was throwing any shade your way? If it came across that way I did not mean it Rather i just wanted to make something basic so i can at least use 2.5 stuff i have without putting it through an unbalanced adapter cause thats pointless.- vapman

I didn't realize G.I.S.M. designed a headphone tap? I was thinking of building something almost just like this to get a balanced output from speaker taps on the ultra cheap. I was thinking about putting it in another box and put a 2.5mm on it instead of 2x stereo out?- vapman

Let's talk Bluetooth Speakers
The King..... as far as I know. Plus how can you not love being able to use them in stereo if you have 2 around? Its main competitor..... JBL Charge 3 I found the overall clarity far inferior to the Oontz 3XL. and the JBL is $20 more... For future research..... 2 x 75mm... -

they're both good enough for me for music much of the time, and i am very picky, so yes they're good for tv :) but i won't recommend monk for tv, as i think it makes vocals without music present sound a little weird. i would lean towards qian39, she3800, something like that... don't be...- vapman
